The service fee consists of two parts: a fixed flat rate and a transaction-based share.

Depending on the test and the process, further costs may arise.

  • Laboratory servicesThe laboratory fees are based on the German fee schedule for physicians (GOÄ) and go to the laboratory in full.
  • Blood drawIf the blood draw is arranged through our network, the blood-draw professional sets the blood-draw fee. Your patient learns it in advance and pays it directly to the blood-draw professional. The blood-draw fee is not part of the service fee.
  • Sample shippingAdditional shipping costs may apply for the return shipment of certain samples.
  • Private medical invoiceCosts may apply for GOÄ-compliant documents for submission to private health insurance or Beihilfe.

You decide how much your practice contributes to the costs.

You decide yourself to what extent your practice contributes to the costs. Your patient sees what they will pay in the patient portal before ordering; the costs of a blood draw arranged through 99Tests are communicated to them separately and in advance.

Are there membership or subscription fees?

No. No membership, no subscription. Using the portal is free of charge for you.

Can I set the cost contribution differently for each patient?

Yes. With every test request, you decide whether and to what extent your practice contributes to the costs.

Do the laboratory fees go to the laboratory in full?

Yes. The laboratory fees go to the laboratory in full; the service fee pays for the work of 99Tests.

Is the handling guarantee included in the price?

Yes. It is part of the fixed flat rate. The costs of a new blood draw are excluded from the guarantee.

Who sets the blood-draw fee?

The blood-draw professional. Your patient learns it in advance and pays it directly to the blood-draw professional.

Does my patient see the costs before ordering from 99Tests?

Yes. Your patient sees the costs of the lab tests and of the handling in the patient portal before ordering. We tell your patient the costs of a blood draw arranged through 99Tests separately and in advance.
